Rhino: Not just an animal

Just a quick update on the packing. I didn’t start until 10:56 last night and was finished by 11:23. I’m counting that as the day before even though we left 8 hours later. Technically, by the calendar, it was the day before.

And now I am in New Orleans. Picture of the Mighty Mississippi behind our hotel. Not particularly scenic, I’m afraid, but it’s the best I have.

What is the difference between a rhino and a RHINO?

One is a large animal with a unicorn type horn on its nose.

The other is an urban-renewal outreach ministry of St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church in New Orleans. RHINO was founded in 2005 in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. RHINO = Rebuilding Hope in New Orleans.

The church I attend in Atlanta heads west to NOLA twice a year to lend a hand to their volunteer efforts.
